Met Eireann Ireland weather forecast as sunshine and warm temperatures set to return for the bank holiday weekend

We’re laying it on factor fifty once again as the sunshine and warm temperatures are set to return for the final bank holiday weekend of the summer.

Weather conditions are expected to remain wet until Friday but the weekend will bring back the warm sunny spells once again.

There will be a generally cloudy start on Saturday with some light showers. The showers will ease by evening time with some nice spells of sunshine developing. Temperatures will range from 17 to 20 degrees.

On Sunday morning there will be a lot of clouds with well scattered showers. But it will pick up in the afternoon with some bright spells developing.

The best of the sunshine will be towards evening. There will be temperatures of 16 to 19 degrees, in a light northerly breeze.

And it will be mostly dry on Bank Holiday Monday with sunny spells with temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees.
