Met Eireann has issued a staggering three weather warnings one of which is an orange alert in a hellish forecast today.
First off, a status yellow, rainfall warning is in place for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Limerick, Connacht from Monday at 9pm until Tuesday at 9pm.
Met Eireann warn: "Heavy rain on Monday night and Tuesday will lead to some river flooding and localised surface flooding. Rainfall totals of 30 to 50mm, higher in mountainous regions."
Then, you have a status yellow, wind warning for the whole of Ireland from 6am Tuesday morning until 6pm this evening.
This means: "South to southwest winds will reach mean wind speeds of 50 to 65km/h, with gusts of 90 to 110km/h. Where winds are onshore there is a risk of coastal flooding."
A status orange, rainfall warning will rock counties Cork, Kerry, Tipperary and Waterford for 25 hours already in place from after 8pm on Monday night until 9pm on Tuesady.
Met Eireann added: "Very heavy rain on Monday night and Tuesday will likely cause further river flooding and surface water flooding. Rainfall totals of 50 to 80mm, higher in mountainous regions."
As you can imagine, it will be wet and windy in Dublin on Tuesday with further spells of heavy rain for much of the day.
Temperatures of 13C will drop to 7C overnight as persistent rain hits continuing right into Wednesday but becoming drier later in the day.
Met Eireann added: "Continuing unsettled weather through midweek but becoming more settled for the end of the week with mainly dry conditions and sunny spells."
