Met Eireann Ireland forecast predicts perfect drying weather with sunshine to return

The Met Eireann forecast has predicted dry and bright weather today with the return of sunshine.

Good news for anyone wanting to hang the clothes out on the line again, it’s expected to remain dry and temperatures won’t be too chilly for the rest of the week.

It will be dry and bright for most this morning with good sunshine developing for the day.

Highest temperatures will range from 7 to 9 degrees. Winds will be generally light southwesterly or variable in direction.

Tonight will be dry with a long clear spell in Dublin with lowest temperatures of 2 or 3 degrees.

Frost and mist patches will form in mostly light southwesterly or variable breezes.

Alan O’Reilly at Carlow Weather said: “Some boring weather for the rest of the week which is good news. No rain or wind and not too cold. Sunny spells up to Friday also.

“I could take a few days off the weather updates,” he joked.
