Ireland is set for some sunshine and warmer temperatures in the middle of next week after a rainy weekend.
A status yellow rain and thunderstorm alert has been issued for Ulster, Connacht and north Leinster until midnight on Sunday.
The Status Yellow rain and thunderstorm warning is for 12 counties as wet conditions are set to hit.
The alert is in place for Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan, Dublin, Longford, Louth, Meath, Westmeath, Leitrim, Mayo, Roscommon and Sligo.
The warning reads: "Heavy thundery showers or longer spells of rain will lead to further localised flooding and hazardous driving conditions."

A wet Sunday is expected in most areas with the heaviest showers in the north, although there will be some brighter sunnier spells in the middle of the country.
Met Eireann said: "Showers will be largely confined to Ulster and north Connacht tomorrow morning where a continued risk of localised flooding will remain.
"It will be drier and brighter intervals and just well scattered showers elsewhere with good sunny spells developing across the midlands.
"However, further heavy showers will move into the southwest during the afternoon."
Monday is set to have sunny spells and scattered showers, heaviest and most frequent in the afternoon.

Tuesday and Wednesday look set to have the best of the good weather next week with highs of 21C and some sunny spells.
A forecaster added: "A day of sunny spells and scattered heavy showers on Monday. The showers most frequent through the afternoon. Highs of 17 to 20 degrees, in a light to moderate west to northwest breeze.
"A mostly dry and cloudy day on Tuesday, with a few sunny spells, brightest in the east.
"A couple of light showers will break out, but most areas remaining dry.
"Highs of 18 to 21 degrees, with light to moderate winds turning southerly.
"In the late evening, a band of rain will reach the west coast, and move across the country overnight.
"Overnight rain will clear the east coast through Wednesday morning. Followed by sunny spells.
"There will be a few scattered showers, but a mainly dry day overall.
"Highs ranging 17 to 21 degrees, in a moderate southwesterly breeze."
However, conditions will remain “unsettled” as the week goes on with some showers returning as we head into the weekend.
It will stay unsettled for Thursday with breezy conditions and showers or longer spells of rain.
It looks like Friday will be drier, but turning unsettled again for Saturday.
