Met Eireann is forecasting awful weather from this evening as Storm Alex passes by the country.
Ireland will not be impacted enough by the weather front to need official warnings, but conditions will not be pleasant.
The forecaster is expecting rain, hail, thunder and lightning and even flooding in the next 12 hours or so.

A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Heavy showers of rain or hail in Connacht and Munster will spread further eastwards into Leinster this afternoon, with thundery downpours bringing the risk of spot flooding. Much of Ulster will be mainly dry with just isolated showers.
"This evening, showers over parts of east Leinster will merge into longer spells of heavy rain. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with a light southerly or variable breeze.
"Tonight, heavy showers or longer spells of rain will continue to affect much of Leinster and Munster with the heaviest falls in the east. The rain will clear southwards towards dawn.
"Mostly dry with clear spells elsewhere apart from scattered showers in the northwest. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 6 degrees, coldest in Ulster with a light northerly breeze, freshening overnight."
Storm Alex
Storm Alex - which was named by the French Met Office - will hit southern England and France later tonight and on Friday morning.
While Ireland will see poor weather as a result, it is likely to miss out on the real brunt of the storm.
There is however, expected to be some more stormy weather here over the weekend.
