Mesut Ozil starts as Unai Emery goes on the attack - Arsenal predicted XI vs Napoli

With as near to a full-strength squad as he could have hoped to pick from at this stage of the season, Unai Emery takes his side to Napoli looking to thread the needle in terms of defensive discipline and attacking threat.

Arsenal hold a 2-0 lead after the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final and a solitary away goal will put them in a hugely advantageous position in the tie, with Napoli then needing to score four times at the Stadio San Paolo to make it into the semi-finals.

A 1-0 win at Watford eased questions over Arsenal's away record this season - they have won just six of 16 league matches on the road - but they will almost certainly not get away with being as open as they were against the 10-men Hornets against a Napoli attack that includes Lorenzo Insigne, Dries Mertens and Jose Callejon.

As such Emery will be looking for an away goal that can hand Arsenal a crucial advantage in the tie.

"When you score when playing matches like tomorrow’s match, you can create a good advantage," he said in his pre-match press conference. "We know it’s going to be very difficult because they can score two or more goals with their attacking players.

"Our mentality tomorrow is to play the match thinking to win."

Emery's squad that made the trip to Naples was missing only four first-team players, three of whom (Hector Bellerin, Rob Holding and Danny Welbeck) are not expected to play again this season. Denis Suarez did not travel due to a groin injury though it was unlikely he would have played a prominent role.

Lucas Torreira's role is in doubt after he suffered a flare up of the pain in his groin against Watford that had forced his withdrawal in the first leg against Napoli. However the Uruguayan has travelled to Italy and is expected to be available to feature in some capacity.

Emery has three players on a disciplinary tightrope ahead of the second leg. If any of Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Granit Xhaka or Henrikh Mkhitaryan pick up bookings they will be ineligible for the first leg of the semi-final, against either Villarreal or Valencia.

Arsenal predicted XI (3-4-1-2): Cech; Sokratis, Koscielny, Monreal; Maitland-Niles, Xhaka, Ramsey, Kolasinac; Ozil; Lacazette, Aubameyang
