Mesut Ozil says what he really thinks about Aaron Ramsey's move from Arsenal to Juventus

The departure of Aaron Ramsey is set to leave a huge hole in the Arsenal squad.

That's the view of Gunners teammate Mesut Ozil.

The midfielder is set to move to Italian giants Juventus this summer after sitting out his contract at the Emirates Stadium, meaning that the north London side won't recoup any of the money that they invested in him.

Ramsey's departure is a bitter blow to everyone involved with the club, and in an interview with Sky Sports Ozil has admitted that he'll be a loss to Unai Emery's side.

He said: "We’ll miss him.

"‘He’s a player with a lot of potential and ability.

"As a player we have to accept it but I wish him well for the future and I wish him all the best."

Mesut Ozil is another player who has been tipped to leave Arsenal this summer, but the German playmaker insists that he's going nowhere.

Arsenal hero makes big admission amid summer transfer prediction for the Gunners

Asked if he wants to stay, Ozil said: "Absolutely. I've got two more years on my contract. I don't know after that but I've got two years left.

Asked if he is happy, he said: "Yes. Why not? I'm 30 now, still got years in front of me, it's down to the club as well of course, but I've got two years here - after that I don't know what happens."

He added: "There's always speculation, everyone inside knew that our situation is positive.

"It's frustrating [not playing]. I want to play in every game. Through injury I've missed games but that's football.

"As a footballer you always want to start games. The coach makes decisions which means you may not start but you have to keep going."
