Mesut Ozil has earned bonus points with Arsenal supporters.
The former Germany international has divided opinions ever since his arrival from Real Madrid six years ago, but his affection for the Gunners simply can't be doubted.
As a Tottenham Hotspur fan attempted to troll the attacking midfielder on social media, Ozil fired back with a response that all Arsenal supporters will love.
It all began with Ozil being tagged in a tweet.
The post was of the Spurs squad official team photo ahead of their game against Juventus at the weekend, but the line-up looked like there was somebody missing from the back row.
In reference to the popular belief that Ozil goes missing in big games, the Spurs fan tweeted: "Wait why was Özil in our team photo???"
To which Ozil had the perfect reply.
Making fun of the fact that Spurs have gone over a decade since winning a trophy, it's safe to say Ozil's reply was as brutal as it could have been.
He tweeted: "If you look closely ... you can see your trophy cabinet."
It's safe to say Ozil won this round.
And Arsenal fans will be oh so proud of the attacking midfielder.
Supporters will also be hopeful that the fire in Ozil's belly at the moment remains throughout the 2019/2020 season as his form last term prompted questions about his £350k-a-week wages.
