'Messi at the wheel!' - Barcelona follow Arsenal's example by poking fun at Man Utd and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Barcelona revelled in their Champions League victory over Manchester United by adopting an Old Trafford terrace favourite to pay homage to their captain, Lionel Messi.

The Argentine was man-of-the-match, scoring twice in the opening twenty minutes to help Barca book their place in the Champions League semi-finals with a 3-0 win in the Nou Camp on Wednesday night.

The terrace soundtrack to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign has been their version of the Stone Roses hit ‘Waterfall’, which begins with the refrain ‘Ole’s at the wheel’.

The phrase has become something of a slogan, but with the Norweigan’s side dumped out of Europe, Barcelona’s official Twitter account decided to give the song a rework.

Arsenal put out similar posts on social media after their 2-0 win at the Emirates in the Premier League last month, subbing in the name of manager Unai Emery.

Philippe Coutinho added a stunning third after Messi’s double to secure a 4-0 aggregate triumph following the 1-0 win at Old Trafford a week ago.
