Staycations are proving more popular than ever as coronavirus restrictions mean most of us won't be jetting abroad for the foreseeable future.
But have you ever considered swapping homes with another family for a UK holiday?
Holiday 'home swaps' are one option for a staycation, and a number of companies have been set up to facilitate these quirky swaps.
Inspired by the film The Holiday, the Love Home Swap website was founded in 2011.
The platform allows its members to set up travel accommodation across the country, or even the world, through sharing other members' houses.
Members in Liverpool can swap their homes with someone living in a luxury London apartment, or a private island in Cornwall, or even a villa in Palm Springs.
There are two ways the business works, classic swaps and point swaps.
Classic swaps are like the film, The Holiday, members swap their homes directly. They can swap at the same time, or at different times of the year.
A point swap, is where you can earn and trade points by renting out your home.
Members can then spend the points they’ve built up by travelling to another member's home, whenever or wherever they want.
