An unsigned Wirral singer is currently riding high in the UK charts - nestling alongside the likes of Mariah Carey and Ed Sheeran.
Mandi Fisher's moving song, White Feather Falls, was only released yesterday (Friday) and now stands at Number 13 in the iTunes chart of the most popular downloads.
Mum-of-three Mandi, of Leasowe, was inspired to write the song after losing her beloved dad, Philip Gibbons, to Covid last year.

Her TikTok account already has more than 368,000 followers, but this is the first time she has stormed the pop charts.
Mandi, 29, said: "It's a song I wrote in memory of my dad. He was my number one fan and he would be so proud. His goal for me was to keep putting my music out there and never give up
"I've got a very supportive following on Facebook and TikTok. It's real music with a real message and meaning. To get it in the pop charts means so much to me.

"It's such a dark time for people, and it felt right to put out a message that gives hope. I've suffered a lot of loss in my life, and a lot of people have lost loved ones.
"The song is from an angel's perspective, looking down from the heavens. It's a positive message for people."
Mandi wrote the song with her best friend and musical collaborator Stuart Moreton.
She added: "We keep calling each other and saying is this real? I have cried I think numerous times a day.
"This is honestly what I've worked for my whole life. If the downloads keep coming the song could be set to hit the official top 40 radio charts by Christmas. It shows anyone can make things happen when you try.
"My supporters have made all this possible and I want this to feel like all of our journey together as they have followed my journey on social media now since my teens and it means a lot to share this journey with everyone."
Mandi spoke movingly last year of how she held her 85-year-old dad's hand as he lay dying of coronavirus.
She had already experienced providing end of life care for her mum, Pauline Gibbons, before she died of cancer in 2015.
Mandi streams her music on Facebook, on TikTok, and on Instagram and YouTube. The song can be downloaded here.
