Merseyside man missing after suffering head injury in Bulgaria

A Merseyside man has gone missing after leaving a hospital following a head injury in Bulgaria.

James Robinson, 35, who is currently living in the Vratsa area of the east European state, was last seen on May 11 leaving a nearby hospital, where he was believed to have been treated for a head injury after falling.

It is not known if he is still in Bulgaria, or has returned to the UK.

A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "He is described as white, of stocky build, 5ft 11 with short ginger hair, a beard and fair complexion.

"Unfortunately we do not know what he was last seen wearing.

"Due to the time James has been missing, we are unsure whether he is currently in the UK or still in Bulgaria.

"Anyone that has therefore seen James here in Merseyside or heard from him, should get in touch.

"Alternatively, if you know someone living in Bulgaria that could share our appeal or has also seen James, please call us on 0151 777 3600."
