Merseyside coffee shop giving away full school uniforms for free today

A Merseyside coffee shop is giving away full school uniforms for free today.

Momo’s on Westfield Street in St Helens is hosting a uniform bank and swap event today, with everything from polo shirts and cardigans to jumpers, summer dresses and blazers.

Parents from the local area are being encouraged to take in their children’s out-grown uniforms to Momo’s to swap it for another.

Among the uniforms available are hundreds of unbranded sets including trousers, polo shirts, PE shorts, shirts and blouses, skirts, pinafores and summer dresses.

The uniform swap also has a range of sets with school logos on - schools include St Thomas of Canterbury, St Anne’s RC, St Mary’s Blackbrook, Parish Church, St Teresa’s, Eccleston Mare and many more.

The coffee shop has even started a petition via change.org to lower the prices of school uniforms.

Uniform Bank Giveaway Day at Momo’s runs from 3:30pm - 5pm today.
