Meredith Vieira recalls finding 'huge bag of sex toys' in Matt Lauer's office in resurfaced video

Another seemingly lighthearted segment involving Matt Lauer doesn't feel so funny now.

Meredith Vieira _ who co-hosted the "Today" show with Lauer for six years _ recalled discovering a bag of sex toys in Lauer's office during a May 2016 segment of her talk show, which has since resurfaced after Lauer was fired by NBC for alleged inappropriate sexual behavior.

"You had a huge bag of sex toys, yes you did, in your closet, Matt," Vieira tells Lauer, who was a guest on the episode, as the audience laughed and groaned.

Lauer then laughed it off and defended himself, explaining a sex therapist had come on "Today" and given him the bag of toys afterward.

Vieira, however, did not remember having a sex therapist as a guest, even though Lauer suggested she may have been the one who conducted the interview.

Vieira also said she did not receive a bag of toys from the therapist, despite Lauer saying multiple hosts had gotten one.

Multiple new accusers have come forward with claims against Lauer's firing, including one who alleged he gave her a sex toy along with an explicit note about how she should use it, according to Variety.

Several other old videos showing Lauer making questionable remarks have also resurfaced since his ousting, including one of Lauer commenting on Vieira's sweater while wearing a mic.

Vieira's husband Richard Cohen, meanwhile, says his wife was not offended by the comment, and that she and Lauer often joked around, according to TMZ.

Lauer issued a statement Thursday expressing his regret for undisclosed actions, while denying the accuracy of some allegations.

"Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed.
