Merchant City vegan cafe to extend opening hours as it launches dinner menu

A popular vegan cafe in the Merchant City has announced it will now stay open into the evenings.

Picnic on Ingram Street been a go-to spot for coffee and lunch since it launched in 2016.

Now, the eatery will be extending its opening hours from 6:30pm for its first evening service this Saturday with a brand new a la carte bistro menu – all plant-based, of course – and a carefully chosen selection of wine and beer.

Catch Fish and Chips launches deep fried creme eggs for Easter Sunday 

They'll be serving up tasty dishes such as mango tofu & chickpea curry in a crepe, baked miso aubergine with black rice and kale and tofu herb dumplings with wilted spinach and caper vierge.

For dessert they also have a tasty mango and white chocolate cheesecake, chocolate brownie and banana and coconut parfait.
