We love our pooches as much as the next person here at Glasgow Live and it seems the Festival Village does too!
The outdoor venue in the heart of Merchant City is launching Dogtoberfest this Saturday to celebrate the German beer festival.
Oktoberfest takes place throughout autumn and is celebrated globally, with many donning their lederhosens to drink from beer steins and enjoy bratwurst.

This Saturday October 16, there will be a free sausage for every dog brought to Festival Village.
There will even be prizes for puppies who come in the best costumes.
German beer steins and hot mulled wine will also be available as well as the usual Festival Village fare.
Elsewhere in the city, Cranside Kitchen is hosting an Oktoberfest celebration kicking off this weekend, where customers can get their bratwursts and pretzels throughout the month as well as enjoying guest Bavarian bottled beers every weekend.
