Police have released a CCTV image of a man after an attack in the Merchant City.
Officers are continuing their investigations into the assault which took place on Virginia Street in August of last year.
Police have published an image of a man who is described as 'an Asian male, heavy built, approximately 30 years of age, spoke with a foreign accent with a bald head.'
Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to come forward.
A Police Scotland statement published this morning advises: "Police Scotland’s enquiries are ongoing regarding an assault which occurred between 8.25pm and 8.50pm on Monday, 17 August, 2020, on Virginia Street, Glasgow.
"Police have released an image of a man who they believe may have information that could assist with their enquiries. The male is described as an Asian male, heavy built, approximately 30 years of age, spoke with a foreign accent with a bald head. He was wearing a long sleeve white shirt and dark trousers.
"Any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who has information regarding the this male, is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number AB03630820 or Incident 3608 of 17 August, 2020.
"Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
