A Mercedes van was sealed off after being found on fire in the road.
Merseyside Police were called to Lower Breck Road in Tuebrook at 9.36pm on Thursday, December 15 by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service. Once officers arrived at the scene they found firefighters working to put out a Mercedes Vito panel van that was well alight.
After the van fire was extinguished, police closed Lower Breck Road in both directions while investigations continued. Police forensics were seen within the cordon investigating the vehicle.

Nobody is believed to be injured following the van fire and enquiries are continuing.
