A Mercedes driver had a very lucky escape after crashing on the M4.
The roads policing unit at South Wales Police said the people in the car "luckily all walked away with only minor injuries" following the crash. A picture released by officers shows the front of the silver car completely smashed in, tyres buckled, the bonnet crumpled and the air bags inside inflated.
Police, the fire service and ambulance were all called to the scene of the crash on Sunday.
Early that morning the eastbound carriageway of the motorway near junction 32 Coryton was closed as emergency services cleared up debris following an early morning crash.
As it was so early on a Sunday morning, there were not many delays and diversions were put in place.
At the time it was reported that two vehicles had been involved in a crash just after 7am.
