A men's formalwear retailer has opened its first high street store in Birmingham city centre.
Suit Direct's current portfolio of shops is based in outlet villages and shopping centres so its new venue in New Street marks the next chapter for the Leeds-based firm.
The new shop stocks suits, shoes, ties and other accessories from brands such as Ben Sherman, Jeff Banks, Gibson London and Antique Rogue alongside an in-store kiosk where customers can order from the firm's website collections.
The store will benefit from one of the highest areas of the city centre for retail footfall and the launch comes at a time of immense pressure on the sector because of the coronavirus restrictions.
The Birmingham outlet is the first to open in a series of planned new standalone stores across the UK.
Suit Direct's retail director Amanda Argent said: "We are delighted to be growing our UK store presence.
"We cannot wait to be a part of the New Street shopping experience and ensure the Birmingham population stays suited and booted during these uncertain times."
