This menacing footage shows Storm Lorenzo creeping towards the west coast of Ireland.
Thick grey storm clouds can be seen billowing over the Atlantic Ocean off Lahinch, Co Clare.
The footage was recorded at around 5:45pm on Thursday evening as the storm approaches mainland Ireland.
Weather forecasters are predicting that waves "the size of a two story house" will batter the Atlantic coast as the rest of the country prepares for 120km/h winds.
Galway, Mayo, Clare, Kerry and Limerick have been hit with the orange warning with gusts of up to 130km/h are expected to lash the west and southwest.
Wind will be slightly weaker than expected, but storm surges may cause damage in these counties.
Four weather warnings have now been issued by Met Eireann as Storm Lorenzo hurtles across Ireland.
A warning said: "Southwesterly winds veering westerly will reach mean speeds 60 to 80km/h with gusts generally of 100 to 120km/h, higher in coastal regions."
The Aran Islands RNLI volunteer crew launched their all-weather Severn class lifeboat at around 9.50am this morning.
The Irish Coast Guard made the request after a woman sustained an injury from an earlier fall and required further medical attention.
The lifeboat launched under Coxswain John O’Donnell and a full crew onboard and headed straight for Inis Meain.
Once the patient was transferred safely aboard under the supervision of the volunteer crew members, the lifeboat headed straight for Rossaveal harbour where the woman was handed into the care of the awaiting ambulance crew.
