Men return to Bristol street armed with baseball bats and golf clubs to attack teenagers

Two teenagers were attacked twice in one night by a group of men outside a popular Bristol bar.

Avon and Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after men aged 18 and 19 were injured in two attacks.

The incidents happened between 2.30am and 3am on Sunday, September 12 outside No. 51 bar in Stokes Croft.

In the first attack, the teenagers were punched and kicked, and sustained facial injuries as a result.

The offenders then left in a black vehicle, before returning around 10 minutes later to continue the assault, armed with baseball bats and golf clubs.

One of the two young victims was taken to hospital where he was found to have suffered broken ribs, police say.

Anyone who witnessed either the first or second incident are urged to contact Avon and Somerset Police on 101, using reference 5221211717.
