CCTV footage of two men wearing purple latex gloves has been released by police investigating an attempted fraud in Renfrewshire.

Officers are keen to speak to the duo who were caught on camera on Friday, February 4, 2022 in Kilbarchan Road, Bridge of Weir.

The first man is described as white, of a slim build with short brown hair. He was wearing the rubber distinctive gloves, a face mask and a black suit with a lanyard around his neck.

The second man is Asian in appearance, of a medium build and had a shaved head at the time. He was also wearing the PPE items and a grey suit.

Detective Jamie Howarth, of Paisley Police Office, said: “We would ask the men in the images, or anyone who recognises them, to contact officers through 101 with reference number KB00580222, or incident 3359 of 4 February 2022.

“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
