Men in 'forensic-style overalls' threatened pub staff with knives and baseball bat before running off with cash

A trio of robbers threatened pub staff with knives and a baseball bat before running off with cash.

The men raided the Mottram Wood pub, on Stockport Road, in Hattersley, Tameside, on Saturday, June 29.

They walked into the pub wearing 'forensic-style overalls' at around 11.45pm and threatened staff.

They then fled with stolen cash in a black Ford Focus.

No on was hurt, but staff were left badly shaken.

Police said two of the men were white and one was mixed race.

All three were dressed in white 'forensic-style' overalls and had their faces covered with black balaclavas.

One of the men was wearing a dark jacket. Another was in a yellow hi-vis vet.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 9262, quoting incident number 2823 of June 29.
