Men carry out knife-point robbery on driver in Lenton

Two men approached a car with a knife and demanded money from the driver.

Police were called to Old Church Street in Lenton at around 1.20pm on Wednesday, August 28.

The men approached a parked blue Honda Civic with a knife.

One of the men entered the car and the driver managed to escape, running towards Gregory Street.

The two men then ran off, with one running towards Friar Street and the other running up Friar Close.

It is believed the two suspects were then spotted at the tram stop in Gregory Street before walking off along the canal tow path.
