Men arrested after 'large scale' brawl breaks out on street

Three people have been arrested after a "large scale" fight broke out on a residential street.

A member of the public alerted police to a fight on The Woodlands in Birkenhead yesterday (Monday, October 3). Officers arrived at the scene and entered a house after concern was raised for the person living at the address.

Once inside, police found a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs. Three men were subsequently arrested on suspicion of posession with intent to supply.

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "Whilst officers from Team Beb have been on hi-visible patrol, a member of the public has alerted officers of a large scale fight occurring on the Woodlands, Birkenhead. Officers have arrived at scene and have entered a property under concern for the occupant at the address whereby a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs have been located inside the property.
