In January, an estimated 2 million people took to the streets across the world as part of the Women’s March. Donald Trump’s order to ban citizens of seven Middle Eastern countries from entering the US was greeted by further demonstrations. A petition calling on the UK to cancel Trump’s state visit has assembled more than 1.8 million signatures at the time of writing.
In the second episode of our new podcast for Members, We Need to Talk About … we’ll be discussing whether we are in a new age of resistance. We’ll be putting Members’ questions on protest and the best way of organising resistance to a panel of experts and Guardian journalists from around the world.
