Two members of a Lanarkshire Orange Lodge took a step in the right direction for charity after completing a gruelling challenge.
Last year Bro David Smith and Bro Jason Hamilton - both members of the Rutherglen Thistle Temperance Loyal Orange Lodge 213, Rutherglen Orange and Purple District 20 - took part in a sponsored Orange Hall Walk.
That saw them set off from Pollockshaws Orange Hall before stopping by all 15 orange halls in the Glasgow region , including Cambuslang and Rutherglen.
The walk ended at Rutherglen Orange Hall, known as 20 Social Club, having covered a total of 26.2 miles and taking eight-and-a-half-hours.
And the two men enjoyed the challenge so much they decided to try another walking route to raise further funds this year.
Last week they choose to do a shorter sponsored walk, which they dubbed a sponsored Orange Heritage Walk, stopping by places they both considered significant to the Orange Order in Glasgow.
That included places like Blythswood Square, the Barras market, Cathedral Street and more, covering 7.4 miles and took David and Jason three hours to complete.
On completing the walk, David told Lanarkshire Live : "The COVID lockdown has been hard on so many of us.
"But members of Rutherglen Orange and Purple District 20 were showing fantastic community spirit throughout it by delivering soup to the elderly, Christmas presents to our juvenile members and to the elderly and many charity events."
The chosen charity for all their efforts was the Scottish Orange Home Fund, which is a charity run by the Grand Orange Lodge of Scotland.
It provides respite care for elderly people and vulnerable families at one of their three holiday homes at Port Seton, Seton Sands & Wemyss Bay.
Jason added: "When we both found out the Scottish Orange Home Fund was struggling to get donations during lockdown, we felt it was our responsibility as Orangemen to do something to help out.
"That’s when we came up with the idea of the Orange Hall Walk and Orange Heritage Walk."
