Alleged member of Glasgow paedophile ring driven out street by raging parents in vigilante protest

A alleged member of a Glasgow paedophile ring was driven out of a property after a 'paedo protest' in the street.

Cops descended on the city's Franklin Street, in the Bridgeton area, last night as angry locals gathered outside a flat.

It is understood the gathering was sparked by news of alleged sex offenders living in the area.

A video circulating on social media shows a large number of cop cars on the street.

Residents shout 'beast' and 'rot in Hell' as police lead someone away from the property.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said the resident had decided to leave the home after the protest.

She said: "Around 10:55pm on Tuesday 3 November 2020, police received a report of a protest outside a flat in Franklin Street.

"Officers attended and the group dispersed.

"The householder decided to leave the property. Officers provided advice and assistance."
