Four people have been shot outside a nightclub in Australia - leaving one dead and another seriously injured.
Victoria Police said the victims were shot outside the club in the small hours of the morning in the inner Melbourne district of Prahran.
Local media are naming the club as Love Machine, in the Australian city's stylish Chapel Street nightclubbing dsitrict.
The Age reports a security guard was shot in the face, and another guard and a patron were wounded in a drive-by shooting involving a stolen black Porsche Cayenne.
The victim's were rushed to Melbourne's Alfred Hospital.

Police they say an investigation is underway and the exact circumstances are still being established.

The Age reports five people were shot across Melbourne in unconnected incidents in March.
The news site reported claims detectives investigating the shooting at Love Machine are expected to investigate links between an "outlaw motorcycle gang" said to have made extortion attempts on the venue.
