Melbourne man in court on murder charge

A 55-year-old man has faced court charged with murder after an incident in Endeavour Hills. (AAP)

A 55-year-old Melbourne man has been charged with murder after an incident in the suburb of Endeavour Hills.

Police were called to a Monteith Crescent property about 2pm on Sunday after reports a man had been injured.

Paramedics tried to save a 39-year-old man but he died at the scene.

The 55-year-old has appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court and will return to court on December 6.
