Mar-a-Lago members are reportedly being put on notice after several guests were caught taking photos of Barron Trump during holiday celebrations at the Florida club, with insiders claiming bans were threatened over violations of the teenager’s privacy.
Barron, 19, spent Christmas and New Year’s Eve at Mar-a-Lago alongside his father, President Donald Trump, after largely staying out of the public eye in recent months. His brief appearance drew attention after models Valeria Sokolova and Abla Sofy photographed him during the festivities, images that later circulated online.

According to sources speaking to gossip columnist Rob Shuter, the reaction from within the Trump family was swift and firm. One insider said Melania Trump made her position unmistakably clear following the incident. “Melania made it very clear that Barron’s privacy is non-negotiable,” the source reportedly said.

“Anyone caught filming or taking pictures would face immediate consequences, including potential banning from the club.” Another source described a strict message delivered to guests. “The message was clear: no cameras, no leaks. Private family moments stay private.”
Those who attended the New Year’s Eve celebration said Barron stayed close to his father throughout the evening, moving quietly through the dining room and speaking very little. One insider described him as understated and reserved. “He was quiet, very reserved, wearing his usual blue suit, almost mirroring Donald,” the source said.

Barron has kept a low profile since President Trump began his second term, with few public appearances since the inauguration last January. At that event, Trump publicly praised his youngest son for helping him connect with younger voters during the 2024 campaign. “I have a very tall son,” Trump told a cheering crowd at the Capital One Arena. “He knew the youth vote. We won the youth vote by 36 points.”
Since then, Barron’s life has shifted mostly out of view. He was later photographed in Manhattan with a more relaxed look while attending NYU’s Stern School of Business, reportedly commuting from Trump Tower. By early fall, questions arose about his absence from campus, which was later explained by a move to Washington, where he began studying at NYU’s Washington campus while living at the White House.
Insiders say Barron has also been focused on business and personal development. “Barron has been actively working on his own financial interests and has spent time with others with whom he is involved in that area,” a source told People. “Still, he has spent a great deal of time with his family.”
More recently, Barron has also been exploring religion. MAGA pastor Stuart Knechtle claimed the teenager is “very close” to embracing Christianity after late-night conversations discussing faith, evidence, and belief. Knechtle said the discussions left a strong impression, adding that he continues to pray that Barron’s journey will continue.
