Melania Trump's favourite TV show is 'How To Get Away With Murder'

The First Lady of the United States is reportedly a huge fan of ABC drama How To Get Away With Murder.

The New York Times reports Melania Trump enjoys watching the show about a lawyer and her students caught up in murder cover-ups, along with the Fox drama Empire.

"Melania Trump recently told me her favourite show is How to Get Away With Murder," reporter Katie Rogers revealed. "I love that the first lady is a Shondaland fan. She also enjoys “Empire.” And reality TV did not come up once."

Empire is about a hip hop mogul trying to handle his warring family and his business.

The people behind Melania's favourite shows are outspoken critics of her husband.

How To Get Away With Murder's executive producer Shonda Rhimes called US President Trump a “hypocrite” for his attack on an African-American Army widow whilst also criticising NFL players for protesting the national anthem over racial-justice issues.

Meanwhile Empire creator Lee Daniels once said that Trump's presidency is a “reflection of who we are. He is our karma.”

Trump was recently criticised over reports he watches up to four hours of television - sometimes double that - each day

However his attention span is apparently not long enough for full feature films. Also in the New York Times piece it was claimed: "Trump once told me that he had trouble sitting through movies. That he knew in the first five minutes if he’d enjoy it or not. And he had no problem getting up and leaving."
