Melania Trump beams as she attends traditional Irish music and dance showcase

Melania Trump was full of smiles when attending a cultural showcase of Irish music, dance and poetry yesterday.

The US First Lady arrived alongside President Donald Trump at Shannon Airport on Wednesday evening after their three day trip to the UK.

As Trump met with Taoiseach Leo Varadkar at the airport to discuss immigration and Brexit, Melania attended a cultural showcase which was hosted by Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht Josepha Madigan.

The showcase allowed Melania to enjoy traditional Irish dancing, music and poetry.

Melania was clearly enjoying the event as she stood beaming from cheek to cheek while watching the show.

Minister Madigan tweeted: "Hosted @FLOTUS Melania Trump at a special cultural showcase of Irish music, dance & poetry at @ShannonAirport as part of #TrumpVisit.

"We both really enjoyed the event. Maith sibh go léir! #TrumpInIreland @DeptAHG @merrionstreet @dfatirl."

Melania stepped of Air Force one in a stunning white coat that hugged her waist and was topped off with a bold belt.

She will be staying at Trump’s Doonbeg Hotel and Golf Resort in Clare for the duration of their visit.
