First Lady Melania Trump and the Duchess of Cambridge turned out in all-white ballgowns tonight for a state banquet at Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the dinner in a long, white Alexander McQueen gown with the Lover’s Knot Tiara, a piece favoured by her late mother in law Princess Diana.

Kate has worn the Lover’s Knot tiara to several state occasions previously, including for a dinner with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
