Mel Tucker, through letter, claims Michigan State has no basis for firing him

The saga of Mel Tucker and Michigan State University continues…

On Monday, a week after athletic director Alan Haller gave Mel Tucker notice that the University plans to fire him for cause, Mel Tucker released a 25-page letter which claims that the University has no basis to fire him and that the investigation was both unfair and biased.

This all stems from a report published by USA TODAY that revealed allegations made by prominent activist Brenda Tracy, who had filed a complaint about Tucker last December.
