Melanie Sykes has flaunted her incredibly honed figure while telling fans how she she overindulged on holiday.
The former Let’s Do Lunch host admitted she was desperate to return to her fitness having scoffed “copious amounts” of pasta on her recent holiday to Italy.
Mel, 51, shared a sweaty snap of herself after a gruelling workout with her 285,000 Instagram fans.
“Good morning friends I’ve just done a fantastic 1 hour workout online with @CarolineGirvan and I’m a sweaty mess but very happy. Just a set of dumbbells and me.
“About three weeks ago I sprained my foot so could only do gentle yoga.
“On my recent holiday, after eating copious amounts of pasta, tiramisu and gelato (which was divine) it’s time to get back to maintaining my healthy body keeping my core strong and me balanced.
“My endorphins are high and my body feels good. I alternative yoga and then weights daily and it’s working for me. Find your groove xxxx.”
Mel went to Venice to spend time with her gondolier toyboy boyfriend Riccardo Simionato, 24.
And the pair got tongues wagging by canoodling and snogging as she celebrated her birthday in style.
But Mel was delighted to have the chance to work on her fitness when she returned home.
"I encourage you all to stay active, maintain your core strength & flexibility, which will help you have a much happier, active life,” she stressed.
“I’ve just celebrated my 51 birthday and I just keep feeling better and better. As they say, ‘healthy body, healthy mind’

“If you are already on it well done you and if you’re not, there is no time like the present.
“My affirmation card came up today as ‘My exquisite female body radiates loving kindness to the world’.”
Mel and Riccardo started romancing last October and the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! star has certainly enjoyed her time in Italy.
“Ciao for now beautiful Venice, you & your people have my heart,” she wrote on social media before flying home.
Mel is now the editor-in-chief of online magazine Frank and has revealed she has stepped away from TV presenting to focus on her creativity.
“The decision to step away was very easy for me as after two years of being editor of The Frank Mag I have found my calling creatively,” she said.

"Through this I have reconnected with who I am, what I believe in and what I am good at.”
But ironically Mel makes a return to TV screens in the new series of Celebrity Masterchef.
And no doubt she will be looking to impress judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode with her culinary skills.
Who knows, she might even whip up an Italian treat for the boys!
