Mel B ‘upset at Geri Horner for making her out to be a liar’ over Spice Girl sex claims

Mel B has reportedly hit out at fellow Spice Girl Geri Horner for allegedly “making her out to be a liar” after she denied the pair hooked up.

The singer, real name Melanie Brown, previously claimed she had enjoyed a night of passion with Horner during the Spice Girls’ heyday.

In an interview with Piers Morgan for his Life Stories series she told how the girl group had “all slept in a bed together,” but nodded uncomfortably when Morgan quizzed her on whether it was “like that” with Horner.

Horner later branded the claims “untrue”, adding that it had been “disappointing to read the rumours”.

Brown has reportedly been left feeling “perplexed” over her bandmate's “denials”, which has supposedly caused tensions ahead of the Spice Girls’ summer tour, according to the Mirror.

A source told the publication: “'Mel is totally perplexed by Geri’s denials. Mel feels Geri is making her out to be a liar. It’s almost as if she is trying to erase our history.”

“There is a lot of bad blood simmering away. It’s going to be interesting,” a second insider said.

Standard Online has contacted representatives of Brown for comment.

The reports come a day after Horner slammed Brown’s claims.

Mel B reveals why she joined Spice Girls reunion tour

In a statement hitting out at the comments, representatives for Horner said: “It has been very disappointing to read about all these rumours again, especially on Mother’s Day of all days.

“Geri loves the Spice Girls: Emma, Melanie, Melanie and Victoria [Beckham]. She would like [the fans] to know that what has been reported recently is simply not true and has been very hurtful to her family.

“Moving forward, Geri can’t wait to see the girls and all the fans on the tour, have an amazing time with everyone, and make some new memories.”

Following Horner’s denials, Morgan backed Brown admitting he “believes” the star.

He then hinted at the anticipated “awkwardness” as rehearsals for the tour are expected to star shortly.

Morgan previously joked that he “hadn’t ruined” the tour, with his Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid mocking that he may have hindered any extension to the dates.
