Mel B has revealed she phoned Geri Horner after her bombshell lesbian sex revelation and assured her she didn't go into any detail about their romp.
The Spice Girls star admitted she'd bedded her pal years ago during an interview with Piers Morgan for his Life Stories show.
Mel, 43, has now confirmed she's been in touch with her pal and they had a long conversation about her confession.
Speaking to Aussie radio station 2DayFM , Mel said: ""I couldn't even speak to your producer earlier because I was on the phone with Geri.
"I did the interview, but I just texted her and said: 'I admitted on Piers that we had a little bit of a thing but don't worry about it, it was all tongue in cheek and I didn't go into detail.'
"I said: 'This was pre your husband, pre your baby, pre one of my babies. It's fine.' I don't know why everyone's making such a big deal about it....

"We had a long conversation. She texted me the night of [the interview] and then we spoke at length today - amongst other things cos we're getting ready for tour right now."
Mel went on to talk about her romp with Geri, insisting it was just a "one night" thing and was "not a big deal".
She added: "It wasn't like a big deal.
"We've known each other for 20-plus years. It was just one of those things that happened one night. And I didn't go into detail about it at all.
"I just said it was a little thing and we giggled about it the next day and that's that.
"It's not a big deal, especially not in this day and age."

Mel B made the shock revelation about sleeping with Geri in the mid-nineties on Piers Morgan's Life Stories.
After admitting that Geri had "great boobs", Mel B remained awkwardly silent when asked if they ever slept together.
Wanting to get more out of his guest, Piers asked: "Did you sleep with Geri like that?"
Mel B then nervously nodded to confirm that she did.
The singer then said: "She’s going to hate me cause she’s all posh in her country house with her husband."
Piers later revealed what happened backstage after the cameras stopped rolling.
He explained: "There was a lot of flurried activity after the recording. I asked 'where is Mel?'. They said she’s just making a call to Geri to smooth things over.
"It’s all kicking off. Geri is now briefing it never happened. She’s slightly panicking I imagine about what Mr Geri thinks."
