Mel B set to 'lose £57,000' in tickets as her solo tour fails to sell

Mel B's solo tour hasn't been the success she'd hoped and she's reportedly about to lose thousands on unsold tickets.

The Spice Girls star, 44, has failed to attract audiences for her Brutally Honest shows and could miss out on £57,000 in sales.

She is booked for two dates in Leeds and London where she will take questions from the audience about her life and career.

At her August 25 show up north she still has 651 seats to fill at the 1,550-capacity Leeds Grand Theatre, where tickets cost between £20 and £100.

If she doesn't sell any more tickets she'll lose £21,878 on this show alone, The Sun reports.

She's booked to play the Savoy Theatre in London on September 1 but she's only sold just under half of the venue’s 1,158 seats

Tickets tickets are going for between £30 and £125, which means she could lose £35,120 on this show.

In total that's £56,998 in unsold tickets.

Her show has been described as a "rare chance to get up close and personal with the star".

Mirror Online has contacted Mel B's reps for comment.

If her career in public speaking fails to kick off, Mel will always have the Spice Girls to fall back on.

Earlier this month it was revealed that the girls are working on new music .

They met with top music producers in the capital to thrash out plans for a new record.

A source revealed: "They have been working in London to gather their thoughts and start recording new material. It’s very exciting and in the early stages but it’s happening.

"They’ve also been in contact with Victoria to see if she can be involved."
