Mel B's daughter Phoenix bags job as new face of George at Asda

Mel B, from Leeds, isn't the only family member in the spotlight.

Daughter Phoenix has bagged the top job at Asda, becoming the new face of George in some sensational snaps.

As reported by the Mirror, the 22-year-old has landed herself the job.

She is the face of George at Asda's new collection and looks sensational in her first set of photos.

Just like Scary Spice, she is pretty good at turning heads.

Phoenix certainly seems to have plenty of stage presence and mum Mel couldn't be prouder.

Turning heads in a variety of different outfits, she looks a natural as she smiles for the snaps.

Mel B shares her daughter with her ex-husband Jimmy Gulzar, who she was married in 1998 before they split two years later.

Commenting on the collection, she said: “I feel incredibly privileged to be able to represent George at Asda. I loved the creativity of the shoot and working out how to put the outfits together."

If the campaign imagery is anything to go by then Phoenix is definitely one to watch with her fashion just like her mum.

When asked what her favourite item from the collection was she said: "My favourite piece from the collection has to be the boots! They are so versatile, whether you’re wearing them with a dress, a pair of jeans or even sweatpants.”

Both Mel and Phoenix have plenty to smile about with things looking up in 2021.

The Spice Up Your Life singer is now almost a millionaire again after previously being down to her last £900.

Mel had to move back in with her mum in Leeds two years ago after her messy divorce from abusive ex-husband Stephen Belafonte left her with post-traumatic stress disorder.

Her accounts showed she had just £961 in the bank whilst Mel also owed around £1.5m in tax to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the US.

Her lawyer Adam Schanz added last year that she was too skint to pay her court fees immediately.

But the latest accounts published last week by her Moneyspider Productions company show she is back in the money, meaning that alongside Phoenix's new found career, the family definitely has a bright future.
