Mel B 'removed' from ITV's An Audience With Adele show over 'rude sex toy joke'

Leeds born singer Mel B was reportedly cut from ITV's An Audience With Adele show after claims she made an inappropriate quip about sex toys.

The former Spice Girl attended the intimate performance at the London Palladium alongside a whole host of stars including Idris Elba, Jodie Comer and Gareth Southgate to name a few.

In between her performance Adele would take break to answer questions from her star-studded audience, reports The Mirror.

However, according to reports from The Sun, Mel B's question didn't make the final edit after she messed it up.

A source told the publication: "She was tasked with asking a question about the best gift Adele had ever received but when the cameras were on her she said she felt silly asking it."

“Then she made a joke and said she could answer the question for Adele and said it was a vibrator.

"No one really laughed but Adele made a wisecrack about it and moved on."

The insider confirmed that there is "no bad blood" however, they say ITV opted to remove the singers remark as the show was for families.

Mel B's reps have been approached for comment.

ITV have declined to comment.

Adele recently made her huge return to the spotlight with a brand new album after taking a break and restarting her life in LA, but she is back and better than ever.

Adele got nervous during her show and had to restart her performance of Easy On Me.

She turned to the band and asked them if they could start again as she was "sh*****g herself".

The singer added: "I'm excited but nervous to sing the new songs. They've been finished for a while."

There were many hilarious as well as heartbreaking moments during the ITV show.

Fans were in hysterics when Adele made a joke about being ready to 'go to jail' after Samuel L Jackson asked her a question about using her fame to get out of predicaments.

However, things got emotional when Adele's childhood English teacher made a surprise appearance.

The mum-of-one was surprised by Miss McDonald moments after she told actress Emma Thompson that the teacher was one of the most influential people in her life.

Emma asked her: "My question is, when you were younger, was there someone who, kind of supported you and inspired you, or, you know protected you from all the trials and tribulations of life and inspired you to go on?"
