Mel B mocks her failed marriage to Stephen Belafonte at latest Spice Girls gig

Mel B has openly mocked her own disastrous marriage to Stephen Belafonte to offer a word of warning to a couple who got engaged at one of the Spice Girls’ gigs.

The 44-year-old singer - widly known as Scary Spice - took a shot at her own failed marriage when she saw

Lovestruck fans Lee Christie and Dane Watters sparked screams of joy as they agreed to get married as they were pulled on stage in front of Spices Ginger, Baby and Sporty (AKA Geri Horner, Emma Bunton and Melanie Chisholm).

But offering some advice, Mel B cracked a joke at the expense of her relationship with Stephen which ended in divorce in 2017 following a decade of marital bliss.

“Make sure you sign a pre-nup, just a bit of advice,” the twice divorced mum-of-three joked to the happy couple.

Mel famously saw her marriage to 44-year-old Stephen come to an abrupt end in December 2016 with the couple filing for divorce three months later.

The separation is believed to have cost Mel her personal fortune - with the current Spice Girls tour believed to have been hatched in part to help the chart topping star reclaim some of her lost fortune.

The divorce also proved to be quite ugly - with eyebrow raising details of the couple’s private lives becoming front page news.

Mel and the girls are currently trundling their way around the UK and Ireland with a 13 date tour titled Spice World 2019 Tour.

The ladies have already played dates in Dublin, Cardiff and Manchester - with Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London yet to be rocked by the girlband.

Reviews for he concerts have not been kind, however, with many fans waling out of performances and demanding refunds after sound issues left some unable to hear anything that was happening on stage.

Mel had addressed the issues after noticing fans complain via social media, telling followers on Instagram following their opening gig: “Hey guys thank you for attending our show tonight in Dublin.”

She added: “We will see you in Cardiff and hopefully the vocals and the sound will be much, much better,” however, it seems the sound issues did continue.
