Mel B brands Victoria Beckham a 'bit of a b****' in same interview as revealing Geri Horner tryst

Melanie Brown reportedly branded Victoria Beckham a “b****” in the same interview she claimed to have slept with Geri Horner.

Brown, known for her runaway mouth, is said to have called her former bandmate a “bit of a b****” when asked by Piers Morgan what she thinks of her.

Scary Spice is then believed to have explained that her attitude towards Beckham was because the fashion designer wasn’t joining the Spice Girls on their reunion tour later this year.

According to The Sun, Brown then said: “I am sad she is not going to be there. But she is busy with what she is doing with her fashion line and her family.

“But I am gutted that she is not going to be with us. But I am still going to hold that candle and hope that she will.”

The popular band delighted fans when they reunited last June ahead of a stadium tour of the UK, which kicks off at the end of May.

But Beckham was not part of the line-up, later declaring that she has “hung up her microphone for good”. Rumours of her joining the foursome on stage in London have circulated since but nothing has been confirmed.

Brown’s mini-takedown of Beckham comes in the same interview she confessed to an alleged fling with Horner, then Halliwell, at the height of the Spice Girls fame.

Asked by Morgan whether there was any truth in the rumours that the pair had enjoyed a night of passion, Brown smiled and nodded as if to confirm a tryst.

She then said: “She's going to hate me for this because she's all posh in her country house with her husband. But it’s the past.”

The star later backtracked on her claims during an interview on Australian radio, claiming her remark had been “taken to a whole other level” by the media.

Horner is yet to comment on the claims but is reported to have denied them.
