Meghan wears Dior for Archie's christening while Kate dons pink Stella McCartney dress

The Duchess of Sussex eschewed her usual choice of Givenchy for the christening of her son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor

Meghan instead opted for Dior, choosing a classic white gown complete with a round neck and three-quarter length sleeves. She also wore a matching hat and Cartier earrings at the event, which some criticised for being too private.

Buckingham Palace did however release two photographs from the occasion.

Prince Harry was pictured sitting beside her in a group photo in a grey suit with a pale blue tie and a white collared shirt.

The Duchess of Cambridge opted for a more colourful ensemble, wearing a blush pink dress by Stella McCartney, paired with scarlet stilettos and a matching headband, tapping into the fledgling trend for hair accessories we’ve seen this season.

Both the Duke of Cambridge and the Prince of Wales chose navy blue suits while the Duchess of Cornwall kept things simple in a classic white knee-length dress not too dissimilar from Meghan’s.

The duchess's mother, Doria Ragland, wore a peachy pink outfit that saw her hat, dress and coat all soaked in the same summery shade.

As for Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale, sisters of the late Princess Diana, were more conservative.

Lady Sarah, who is the elder of the two, chose a light pink coat and hat while Lady Jane chose a yellow blazer and a patterned shirt.
