Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara welcome first child and announce name on Valentine's Day

Meghan Trainor has given birth.

The singer, 27, has welcomed her first child with husband, Spy Kids star Daryl Sabara, 28.

The little one was born a few days ago but the couple waited until his due date - Valentine's Day - to share the news.

Posting some sweet pictures, Meghan penned: "This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th! We are SO IN LOVE Thank you @darylsabara for the best Valentine’s gift ever! Welcome to the world Riley!"

The former Voice UK coach shared pictures of herself cradling Riley in her arms moments after giving birth, as well as a sweet image of Daryl feeding his son.

Model Ashley Graham passed on her well-wishes, commenting: "Riley!!!! Welcome to the world!!! Congratulations mom & dad!!"

While one fan told the star: "Congratulations Meghan! He’s beautiful"

"LOOK AT HIM," another gushed.

Meghan had revealed in October that she was expecting a baby boy.

She chose to do it in a bit of a unique way, by sharing the news on The Kelly Clarkson Show.

Giggling with Daryl, she said: "We’ve never told anyone … I saved it for you, Kelly, I love you."

The actor then spilled the beans that he and his wife were expecting a boy.

In December, Meghan was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and spoke about the changes she had to make to her lifestyle.

Speaking to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, she said: "I got gestational diabetes, but so many women have it.

"It was just the unknowing. I didn't know what it was. It's like a genetics thing. My mom had it and she didn't even give me a full warning."

She added: "I just watch what I eat now. I write everything now, I check my blood. And we're good now. I've been crushing it.

"It's like a game for me and I'm winning. It's nice to know we're both healthy."
