It's the conversation that's been raging ever since Harry and Meghan announced their decision not to pose with their new baby immediately after the birth.
Breaking with tradition the couple waited to show off their son and we finally got a Royal baby first picture: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reveal son to the world today.
I applaud Harry and Meghan for their decision for no other reason than it was theirs to make. Having a baby is a magical time and every parent should enjoy every moment.
But of course they are public figures, so today the couple posed for pictures in St George's Hall at Windsor Chapel.
The Duchess looked beautiful but it was the couple's smiles that spoke a thousand words and were so wonderful to see.

Royal baby first picture: Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reveal son to the world
Stylish as ever, Meghan Markle combined two of her favourite styles, wearing a white belted dress with button detail, to show her new baby off to the world.
Having documented pretty much everything Meghan's ever worn, we know she loves a belted coat. We also know she loves a trench dress and has worn a pink version, stripe and white version on several occasions. We also know that Meghan loves white, opting to wear a white belted Line the Label coat to announce her engagement in November 2017.
So today's look, suspected to be by her wedding dress designer Givenchy, was clearly something she felt comfortable and confident in. Wearing a pair of nude court shoes, a minimal necklace and a nude nail, the look was effortless.

I can't imagine what it would be like to have to pose for photographs (for the world to see) two days after giving birth but Meghan clearly hadn't felt the pressure to get in a glam squad and appear with a big bouncy blow dry pretending motherhood isn't hard.
If you ask me all she'd really succumbed to was healthy dose of bronzer and lashings of mascara to make her look less than utterly bewildered and exhausted.
I also admire the fact she wasn't trying to look anything other than a happy new mum. No attempt to squeeze into a tiny dress, no big display of any thing other than pure joy.
