Meghan Markle wears Staud for visit to oldest Mosque in South Africa

It’s day two of the royal tour in South Africa and already we’ve seen a slew of chic and sustainable outfits from Meghan Markle.

As the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at the latest engagement this afternoon at the Auwal Mosque in Bo Kaap, she proved her style credentials once more in a maxi dress from American brand Staud.

Set up in 2015, the LA-based label is known for its covetable and Insta-friendly pieces, which are big with influencers and editors alike, but it's the arm-candy which is heavily endorsed by the 'It' girls of Instagram, with the latest 'Moon' bag being a particular favourite of Kendall Jenner's.

For the meeting with local community leaders, Meghan paired the khaki 'Millie' dress with a chic cream headscarf and a pair of Sam Edelman ballet pumps, which are available to buy now for £85.

Upon their arrival at the Mosque, which is the first to have been built in South Africa, the couple were greeted by Imam Sheikh Ismail Londt and Muslim community leader Mohamed Groenwald.

During their visit, the duke and duchess also had the opportunity to view the first known manuscript of the Qu’ran in South Africa.
