Meghan Markle 's "first TV interview" since stepping down from the royal family is just a promo recording for her Disney documentary Elephant.
The Duchess of Sussex, 38, who has moved to Los Angeles with Prince Harry and their son Archie, had previously been reported to be taking part in her first televised chat since quitting Britain.
It had been thought Meghan would be sitting down for a chat with US TV show Good Morning America.
However, it's now been revealed the show will just be airing a pre-recorded "asset" which Meghan taped to promote Elephant.

According to Deadline.com, Meghan's representative confirmed will not be talking about anything other than the Disney+ film which she narrated.
News of Meghan's TV appearance was confirmed when a fan account shared a clip of it on Instagram on Saturday.
The trailer doesn't include anything Meghan says, but shows her talking to the camera.
A voiceover says: "On GMA Monday, Meghan Markle with an exclusive first look at the Disney documentary Elephant. "

In the video, Meghan wears a crisp white shirt with her hair down.
Elephant was also Meghan's first job since stepping down as a senior royal, and she's believed to have donated her fee to charity.
Meghan and Harry announced plans to set down as senior royals at the start of the year.
They later quit Britain and moved to Canada, but within weeks they had up sticks and transferred to Meghan's native California.
They are now believed to be living in a rented mansion in Los Angeles.
The former royals have since been picture delivering food parcels to vulnerable LA residents during the coronavirus outbreak.
