Meghan Markle is still in regular contact with best friend Jessica Mulroney despite rumours of a falling out, reports say.
The absence of social media posts about the Duchess of Sussex by her Canadian stylist friend had prompted whispers of a spat.
It had been suggested a row may have broken out over Mulroney's involvement in an alleged race row last year.
But this theory has now apparently been quashed - with a source telling the Daily Mail are pair still close.
The insider said: "Meghan is in regular touch with Jessica. It's just difficult now they're in California and Jessica's in Toronto."

The Duchess moved to the west coast of the US to start a new life with husband Prince Harry, 36, after leaving the royal family.
She apparently met Mulroney, 41, while working in Toronto on the popular legal drama Suits.
The pair are said to have hit it off and are still friends a decade later, with Mulroney often credited with expanding Meghan's circle.
She was also a big player at the Sussexes wedding in 2018, even dubbed the 'unofficial' maid of honour by some.
But, on Meghan's birthday earlier this month, a post wishing her well was conspicuous by its absence from Mulroney's Instagram.
This also fuelled rumours of a split - although this too appears to be unfounded.
The news comes as the Sussexes prepare for an updated version of an unauthorised biography to be released.

Harry, 36, and Meghan, 40, have insisted they have not spoken to Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, Finding Freedom's authors.
However, other parties believe there is some closeness between the writers and the couple.
A new epilogue for the book is due to be published next week, with more revelations likely to rock the royal family expected.
The couple sensationally claimed during their bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey in March that a senior royal had made a comment when the Duchess was pregnant with Archie.
But they did not name the supposed royal, or give any details which would help to identify whom was responsible.
However, the updated edition has now alleged that they DID consider "sharing this detail" in the tell-all chat, it is said.
A leaked excerpt is claimed to have revealed that Meghan decided against naming the individual, as it would be "very damaging to them".
The book is also said to alleged that Prince William - who had to insist his family was not racist when challenged by reporters in the aftermath - was left "furious" by the interview.
